LVA is extremely pleased to announce that it has been successful in its appeal for the refusal for up to 32 dwellings in the Somerset village of Butleigh in Mendip.

In the decision, issued 8 April 2020, the Planning Inspector deemed the shortfall of housing land supply in the district to be significant and that the proposal would meet the three objectives of sustainable development identified in the National Planning Policy Framework. The scheme would also comply with the emerging Mendip Local Plan Part II which allocates the site for a minimum of 25 dwellings.
