A 1.60 acre brownfield site located in the Lincolnshire town of Boston.
The site is situated on Fydell Street, a major route in to the town centre. The site is immediately adjacent to Asda, Boston’s largest supermarket. The surrounding area is a mix of residential and commercial uses. Boston train station is within a five-minute walk from the site.
Historically, the site formed part of a larger gas works. Part of the site has been developed and is now the Asda Superstore and carpark.
LVA are currently involved in pre-application enquiries with Staffordshire Mooreland District Council who are keen to see the site redeveloped. The site is considered suitable for a number of different uses including residential, retail, fast food and other commercial employment uses.
The site includes a 4,000 sqft existing building which is suitable for business units or possible conversion to residential.
Once LVA has completed pre-application enquiries with the Local Authority, the property will be marketed on subject to planning terms. The existing former National Grid office premises will be sold separately. We anticipate marketing will commence early 2019.
