Strategic Land Acquired in Tiverton, Mid Devon


LVA is delighted to announce the acquisition of further land in Tiverton, bringing LVA's strategic holding in the settlement to 30 acres.

Project Leader James Tizzard who will oversee planning promotion of the site commented, “The site is located in a sustainable location within easy reach of a wide range of shops and services in Tiverton Town Centre and its development can assist in providing much needed market and affordable housing in the District." Further updates will be provided as promotion work on this exciting project evolves.

 

SITES IN SEDGEMOOR VILLAGE ACQUIRED


A block of 3 sustainable and well-located sites totalling 15 acres within the village of West Huntspill have been successfully acquired by LVA under specifically tailored agreements. The sites have excellent planning prospects and present opportunities to deliver not only sustainable residential development but community benefits also.
 

 

OUTLINE PLANNING CONSENT FOR UP TO 50 HOMES IN MERRIOTT


LVA are delighted to have obtained a resolution to grant consent for up to 50 new houses in the Somerset village of Merriott. The scheme will deliver on-site affordable housing and a much-needed footpath along Church Street which will provide safer pedestrian access to the local Church and school.
 
The application was recommended for approval by the planning officer before being refused at Planning Committee. It was then referred to the Regulation Committee, who overturned this decision.

Edge of Town Centre Site Purchased in Crowborough, East Sussex


The 4-acre infill site is well located on the edge of Crowborough Town Centre, surrounded by low density residential development on all sides and is outside the AONB.

LVA intend to promote the site through the emerging Local Plan, highlighting the sites sustainable credentials and role that it can play in delivering much needed housing for the District in the short term.

 

Cullompton Site Attracts Strong Bidding


Following a successful appeal decision which secured an outline consent for up to 74 dwellings, the site has been put to the market.

After proactively working with the Planning Authority, LVA are delighted that their holding is earmarked for early delivery of up to 250 houses as part of the expansion of the new town of Cranbrook, Devon.

Brownfield Site in Staffordshire


LVA is pleased to announce it has acquired a 4-acre brownfield site in on the edge of Leek Town Centre from National Grid.   

Commenting on the acquisition, Project Leader James Huckerby stated, “The site represents the opportunity to develop a vacant brownfield site located within close vicinity of two established large retailers on the primary route in and out of the town."  

A number of viable development options are currently being considered.

 

Consented Land in Cheddar on the Market


Having won an outline consent for up to 67 houses in this attractive Somerset town, LVA has received bids from a number of interested housebuilders.

Project Leader James Tizzard who successfully steered the site through the planning process commented, “We have been delighted with the responses following a recent marketing period by our joint agents CJH Land and Eveland. This particular site represents an opportunity to provide a distinctive and high-quality scheme that complements the unique character of Cheddar."
